Gavin's birthday room! We went in his room in the middle of the night and decorated so he had a surprise when he woke up (thanks for the idea Brie) we didn't have lots of balloons like I wanted, but he still liked it!

Big News!! (no, I'm not pregnant!)

It's official! We have a walking boy here! Gavin has taken a couple of steps here and there but never really felt like trying more until today. He started by taking a couple on his own (usually we're coaching him to!) then he kept going from me back to Andrew and back to me. By the end of the night he was having fun and very proud of himself trying it a lot more. He's still wobbly of course but will get better and better really quick I know! We'll get a video/pictures posted in the next couple of days, I was just excited to share the news!!

When I got groceries last week it was the first time I didn't buy any sort of baby food item and Gav is only having big boy milk now!! He's such a kid! His first birthday is just a few days away!

Family Wedding

My cousin Adrienne got married a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot of fun to have the whole family together all dressed up! The place the reception was held was the same place my parents had their reception so it was cool to get the family pictures in the red room because my parents have pictures in there from their wedding day! It was a beautiful day!

A Fall Afternoon

Man oh man, this boy loves his tractor! We usually play with it inside but on this beautiful fall afternoon mommy couldn't resist spending some time in the yard. So, we took the tractor outside. I wasn't sure if he would be able to ride it in the grass but he had no problem! He's seeming so much more like a toddler now. I guess that's cause he is!

It's hard work to get to the top! Gavin could climb up the slide all day! He loves it! He has finally starting sliding back down on his belly!...and riding the tractor in our jammies before bed (with our tongue out of course)!
